There may be many reasons why you
are looking at care options. You may be looking
for yourself or on behalf of a friend or relative,
because a little support is needed with those tasks
that are becoming more difficult, or because of
restricted mobility through illness or an accident.
It may be that your needs aren’t just
for personal care, you may need a companion or
some help around the house with domestic tasks.
Your needs may be short term, convalescent, respite
or holiday care for example, or more longer term. |

Live-in
care is a care service that provides
security and peace of mind through the support
and assistance of a carer living and staying
with you on an ongoing basis in your own home.
This means that you would be able to stay in
your own home. It works by us supplying you with
a carer to support you; who can complete any
daily living tasks that you are no longer able
to do or would rather not do yourself. This includes
providing companionship, reminding and encouragement.
It offers the familiarity of home whilst maintaining
your chosen daily routine and lifestyle and we
also guarantee that you will never be left unattended
if our carer was ill or unable to cover. It is
a complete service that offers personal care,
assistance with mobility, supervision and reassurance
as well as the more routine housekeeping, shopping,
cooking and laundry tasks.
Live-in care works
because more and more people are looking to retain
their independence and maintain a quality of life
yet still stay at home. It works because the live-In
care we provide uses directly employed carers
trained to the highest standard, special people
that can provide a consistent and quality one to
one relationship.
It works, because in YOUR home, things will be
done YOUR way. Live-in care works because it provides peace of mind, knowing that someone is there for you, whatever the time of day.
Helping Hands have been providing quality home and Live-In care since Mary Lee created the business in 1989.
