Helping Hands Home Care was established in Alcester, just a few miles from Evesham, in 1989 as a family run business dedicated to providing the highest standards of care possible. Even though we have grown in the last 20 years, we are still very much a family business and our dedication to quality is as strong as ever.
Over the years our Helping Hands carers have provided hourly home domiciliary care to thousands of people in the Evesham area, allowing them to remain in their own home and providing much needed peace of mind for the family and loved ones.
Helping Hands hourly carers are employed directly by us, we do not use any agency staff. All of our carers receive full training and assessment, including a comprehensive (CRB) Criminal Records Bureau check.
Hourly care services include:
• Getting up, washing, toileting, dressing
• Going to bed, undressing
• Help with medication
• Overnight stays if required
• General housework such as vacuuming, washing up etc.
• Preparation and cooking of meals
• Shopping errands, and the collection of pensions and prescriptions
• Assistance with things such as letters, emails, phone calls
• Assistance with trips out to the shops or to see friends.
• Providing good company, someone to talk to and listen to
• Providing respite relief so an existing care giver can take a break
