Helping Hands Home Care was founded in Alcester, just a few miles from Redditch, in 1989. Fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission, we are a family run care provider which has been caring for people in Redditch since 1989.
Since the late 80s, our dedicated hourly carers have been providing care and assistance to elderly people in their homes across Redditch; helping them to take care of the everyday tasks and enabling them to remain in their own homes. This indirectly provides much needed peace of mind for the family.
All of our hourly carers undergo regular training and do not start work until they have received a full assessment including a (CRB) Criminal Records Bureau check. All of our hourly carers are employed directly by us; we do not use any agency staff. Services undertaken by our Hourly Carers include:
General care
• Housework, - laundry, food preparation etc
• Errands, -shopping, collecting pensions, prescriptions etc
• Clerical assistance - letter writing, phone calls, forms, emails etc
• Out & About, - trips out, visiting friends etc
• Companionship, - simple tasks like reading, chatting and listening
• Sitting service, - providing brief relief for an existing care giver
Personal care
• Mornings – toileting, bathing, washing and dressing.
• Evenings - help with going to bed in the evening.
• Medication - help overseeing medication.
• Overnight – we can stay overnight where necessary.
