Helping Hands Home Care was established in 1989.  We are a small family run business which is completely dedicated to providing the highest quality care to our customers in their own homes. 

We have been providing hourly home care (sometimes called domiciliary care) to people in Stratford upon Avon for over two decades.  Our dedicated carers provide a range of services to help make life easier, ensuring people can remain in their own homes and providing peace of mind for the families and loved ones.

We choose not to use any agency staff; instead we employ all of our carers directly after a full training and assessment period which includes a comprehensive (CRB) Criminal Records Bureau check. Our hourly care services range from general services such as:

• General housework such as vacuuming, washing up etc.
• Preparation and cooking of meals
• Shopping errands, and the collection of pensions and prescriptions
• Assistance with things such as letters, emails, phone calls
• Assistance with trips out to the shops or to see friends.
• Providing good company, someone to talk to and listen to
• Providing respite relief so an existing care giver can take a break

To personal:

• Getting up, washing, toileting, dressing
• Going to bed, undressing
• Help with medication
• Overnight stays if required
