Training

The level of training we offer is one of the things that differentiates Helping Hands from our competition. At our purpose built training centre at Minerva Mill, we can offer unparalleled levels of training, ensuring our customers get the best possible care for their conditions.

Cooking at Minerva Mill Training centret

As you will have seen from our recruitment process, you have to pass an intensive residential training course before you are offered a job with Helping Hands. This induction programme proves how seriously we take our training; and how we ensure that we get only the best people for the job.

We invite you to learn more about the content of our induction week training programme; Julie Mills, our Training Manager, will outline induction week for you and you can take a look at a typical training week timetable.

We are a people business, so we’d like you to meet the training team before you arrive at Alcester. Read their profiles and get to know the team that will be helping you become great Carers.

Ongoing support

Our commitment to training does not end after the induction week. We have ongoing support for our Carers, including 24/7/365 telephone support, dedicated Care Managers and an extensive list of ongoing training that ensures you’re fully equipped to tackle any condition you come up against.
