Caring after a Stroke

Brenda had suffered a stroke and after a stay of several weeks in hospital, she wanted to return home. She desperately missed her elderly cat, Tom, and wished to be reunited with him and the comfortable, familiar surroundings of home.

Brenda’s recuperation has been quicker in the comfort of her own home, no doubt aided by Tom and loved ones nearby. As well as offering comfortable surroundings in which to learn or relearn skills and adapt to the physical limitations that followed, Brenda has developed a trusting relationship with her Live-in Carer.
