Caring for Parkinson's

William, a retired Doctor suffering from Parkinson's, wanted to stay at home after his wife died. But to do so, he needed help overseeing his medication, handling items and with his general mobility. Our Live-in Care team, in addition to helping with William’s physical needs, were able to offer him companionship and emotional support, helping him to remain positive.

By motivating William, promoting his independence and restoring his confidence, his condition has slowly started to stabilise and thus his independence has grown too. After nearly a year of Live-in Care, William is now confident enough to venture out on trips or sit outside and enjoy his garden.
