The familiarity and assurance that only home comforts can bring with no upheaval or disturbance or any disarming need for reorientation; in times of high anxiety the Carer is on hand to reassure and comfort.
In their own home, customers are more likely to feel safe. Taking somebody with Dementia out of their familiar surroundings can make them feel exposed and vulnerable.
Live-in Carers can cook favourite meals at times when we know customers prefer to eat.
