Mid-stage Dementia – A Daughter’s Feedback

A customer’s daughter kindly took the time to write to us and has given us permission to publish the below feedback:

Dear Helping Hands,

I would like to provide feedback on live-in care recently received. My mother ‘HH’ has mid-stage dementia and was recently looked after by a Helping Hands dementia care specialist – Lydia Dharingo. My father went overseas for a week and organised for a carer to look after my mother for the week.

Lydia was incredible and made a huge difference to what would otherwise have been an incredibly stressful situation. She was well trained, had huge insight into what my mum needed and was compassionate. Both my sister and I would like to express our huge thanks to Lydia who deserves recognition for her work and professionalism. Furthermore, my mum liked her enormously.

Please can you ensure this feedback reaches Lydia who deserves to receive recognition for her professionalism.

With kind regards
