The very best trainer in the land
For those of you that follow us on Twitter you will know that this Saturday saw the finals of The Great British Homecare Awards at the Royal Courts of Justice in London.
And what a successful night we had, as a company we came runner up in the Large Care Employer Award – however the star of the whole show was Julie Mills who won The Care Trainer of The Year Award – its official, we have the best trainer in the land !! Julie was up against 6 others including Notts Social Services and Active Assistance. Judged by a panel including a representative from the Dept of Health the judges were ” looking for a person who has shown incredible determination and enthusiasm in identifying training and development needs of care staff with an ability to enthuse and energise”
This is a fantastic achievement and is testament to Julies hard work ,her pivotal role in the transition to our new state of the art training centre and why our training is recognised as being among the best in our industry.
There will be an official release as to Julies accolade in the weeks to come, I just couldnt wait to shout it from the rooftops !
