 EMPLOYER OF CHOICE AWARD FOR HELPING HANDS.

 

Local employer, Helping Hands Home emerged with an Official Commendation from the Employer Of Choice Awards held at The Hilton Hotel in Warwick. Hosted by Warwickshire County Council, the annual awards look to recognise employers commitment to work-life balance policies.

With over 350 employees throughout Warwickshire and Worcestershire, Helping Hands were judged in the Corporate Category , and after an onsite visit from the awards panel, were shortlisted to attend the gala event. The companys use of flexible working options and proactive attitude towards their care workforce earned them an official commendation and a position amongst the best employers in the county. 

Merle Bayliss, a work-life balance adviser from Warwickshire Business Support Services, commented. “An increasing number of organisations in Warwickshire are switched on to the benefits of flexible working.  They are developing new work-life balance strategies to keep people happy and motivated, to improve business performance and to benefit customers.  When I visited Helping Hands it was clear that the organisation listened to its staff, giving them the flexibility needed to help them balance work and home commitments . They also  offer a comprehensive training and development programme to ensure customers receive a high level of service'
