Keep Warm Keep Well 2007-2008

Keep Warm Keep Well is a national government campaign to reduce cold-related illness and deaths during winter. It is aimed at financially disadvantaged older or disabled people and their carers, and families with young children on low incomes.
It gives information on the health benefits of keeping warm in winter, providing advice on healthy eating and exercise, home heating and energy efficiency, and details of the grants and benefits available.

We are more likely to catch cold or flu during winter.
Cold weather can also cause other serious health problems like pneumonia. It is essential to keep warm in winter and there are some simple measures you can take to stay healthy, live well and keep warm. You’ll find information and advice about how to stay well in winter by keeping warm and what financial support is available by visiting: www.direct.gov.uk/keepwarmkeepwell
