Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership for Care (CWPC) annual awards seek to recognise and celebrate the hard work and dedication demonstrated every day in the region’s Social Care sector.
Helping Hands Home Care has been providing domiciliary care since 1989. Still a family run business the company now provides over 5,500 hours of hourly care per week throughout Warwickshire and Worcestershire and supports over 180 clients with Live-In care across England and Wales. Helping Hands also provide a “Rapid Response” service to South Warwickshire Social Services, when short term Live-In care is needed.
The Care Business award is sponsored by the Royal Bank of Scotland and the criteria is based on how an organization has enabled staff to fulfill its potential through development and learning, how the organization has engaged with service users and other stakeholders, how business needs are met by workforce development and how the organization has benefited.
Helping Hands was one of eight award winners at this year’s Voice of Care ceremony at a special ceremony in Fillongley, Warwickshire on Thursday 12th July. The ceremony formed part of the fourth Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership for Care conference, attended by about 200 delegates from care providers, support agencies and training providers.
