CARER
OF THE YEAR 2006
An Evesham carer has been awarded the
accolade of Helping Hands Home Care Carer
of The Year. Catherine Haley has worked
for the Alcester based home care provider
for 2 years. Praised by Helping Hands Home
Care for her care and commitment, Catherine
received her award following many compliments
from colleagues and clients alike.

am absolutely delighted to be named Carer
of the Year. I thoroughly enjoy my work
and love caring, so to be rewarded as well
is a great suprise!"
As
a reward for her commitment she was presented
with £500 worth of Post Office Vouchers
and the inaugural trophy at the awards
ceremony held at Alcester Town Hall.
Catherine
was also one of many carers who received
formal recognition for gaining NVQ Level
2 in Health and Social Care. Other presentations
included achievements in Additional Training,
Manual Handling and long service awards.
