The Way that We Provide Care

When initially researching care providers there is a misconception that everybody provides the same sort of service. However, there are some basic fundamentals to the way in which we provide care that make us slightly different to most.

We directly employ our carers

Rather than acting as an introductory agency we directly recruit, train, assess and manage all of our carers. This means that you and your family are able to concentrate on each other rather than worrying about the technicalities of insurance or wages . This also becomes critical when a carer is unable to work because of illness or accident. As their employer we will guarantee that you will never be left without care and ensure a replacement carer is sent to you immediately. Should you as the family choose to employ the carers then you are left with the task of sourcing replacement carers yourselves.

We offer continuity of care

We strongly believe that continuity of the same carer has significant advantages over systems that operate carers in rotation, for example, every two weeks. Because our carers stay on average 5-8 weeks before taking a short break, they are able to develop a deeper level of understanding and better quality of relationship . There is less disruption for the person receiving care, they can settle into live-in care knowing that they are not going to have to constantly adjust to new faces and personalities coming into their home. Many of our carers have been in the same positions for years, becoming a valued extension of the family unit.
