There are many benefits of working with Helping Hands Homecare. Whilst working as a Live-in Carer can be very challenging, it can also be highly rewarding. But rewarding doesn’t pay the bills; so in this section we’ll highlight the hard facts and figures that make up our pay and benefits package.
We directly employ our Carers; that means we take care of PAYE tax payments and National Insurance contributions. You also accrue holiday entitlement and are entitled to statutory sick pay. Find out what we pay and exactly what direct employment means for you. Helping Hands is an established company. We’ve been in business for 20 years and that counts for a lot in an industry where companies often come and go quickly. Our longevity offers our Carers stability; our processes and practices are based on solid foundations of industry experience. That means that we consider things that you might not have even thought about, like transport, handovers and matching clients.
We have a wide range of clients with a variety of conditions; that means a variety of challenges for you. New challenges, new experiences and new training will keep you engaged as you come face to face with new clients and new conditions to care for. Our clients are located all over England and Wales; that gives you the opportunity, if you choose, to experience living in a different part of the country from time to time.
As one of our Live-in Carers, you will be living with the person who needs care in their own home 7 days a week.
You will also be expected to work across England and Wales.Typically we do expect a Carer to stay 5 - 8 weeks in a placement before taking a holiday.
Do you know anyone that would make a great carer? Let us know and earn a reward!
