Diversity of Clients
Live-in Care from Helping Hands is not purely a service for the elderly. Our customers include younger adults from 18 to 65 who wish to stay in their own home and continue to live life on their terms, to their timetable.
Many of the younger adults we support lead very active lives; some go to work, others attend college or university and maintain a full and hectic social life, keeping up hobbies, sports and outside interests. A Carer is a full-time part of that life; helping with travel to and from work or university, or out on day trips, or even down the pub!
Our Carers receive a specific training package for every condition they face, equipping them with the necessary skills to allow them to deliver the necessary care. We currently provide Live-in Care for individuals with over 45 different conditions, ranging from Dementia and Alzheimer’s,to Multiple Sclerosis, to for care after a Stroke. As a Helping Hands Carer, you will receive thorough training and preparation that allows you to fully understand, deal with and care for each and every condition that you may be faced with.
