Wanted to thank the whole team but particularly Maisie who worked extra time when I collapsed in June during her visit. She was very professional and called the ambulance as well as staying as long as she could. I spent 5 days in hospital but now home and very relieved that she was so good. Thank you. I would highly recommend your service.

We approached Helping Hands in February this year after we realised our 88 year old mum needed care in her home following an accident. After providing care for our mum for years we were struggling working mums care around work commitments and illness within the family. After initially meeting with another care company we were so glad that we also met with Penny at Helping hands and read their reviews. We were especially pleased to find they are based so close to where my mum lives. Penny and Carol at the Oldham branch have been so helpful and responsive to the alterations we require as my mums needs change. We are impressed with the carers who have been genuinely kind to our mum. It does take a little time for the newer carers to get used to mums home etc but once settled in they all work so hard to help our mum. Maggie, Karen, Jo, Joanne, Monica and Juliette have been so lovely and we have confidence in them. We would definitely recommend Helping hands to others seeking care.

The care that our lovely mum/ grandma recieved from Emma, Natalie and Roxy was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and communication was great, always keeping us up to date. I was looking after my mum in law 24/7 and i needed help as my own health was compromised & i needed sleep and respite. Helping hands were just amazing. The overnight carer made such a difference to both Mum and Myself . I cannot recommend them highly enough. If i ever need care myself i would contact them direct. Helping hands cared for my husband for four days whilst I took a holiday. My husband was extremely happy with the carers who visited him twice a day to organise his meals and check on his well-being. Having Helping Hands to turn to when I need a break is a great relief for me. I have peace of mind whilst I am away as I am confident that he is being well looked after. It is an excellent service and we both would recommend it without hesitation.

We got help while we away for 5 days. It was the first time we have had outside help. My Mum seemed happy when we got home. She was not agitated or confused, as I might have feared. The experience with your carers seems to have gone well. I intend to use you again for a similar service.

We’ve used them before. Responsive, caring and experienced. Nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely recommend them to others. A wonderfully helpful feeling to know they have your back.
