Helping Hands Home Care have launched a video tribute to their carers in celebration of Professional Care Workers Week.

The video highlights their brand-new reward and recognition scheme, Moments of Kindness, which coincides with the theme of Professional Care Workers Week, ‘Respect and Recognition’.

The video includes photographs and clips of carers supporting their customers, as well as receiving their Moments of Kindness awards.

In celebration of Professional Care Workers Week, Group Managing Director Karyn MacKenzie said: “I’m delighted to be celebrating our amazing carers this week. Our carers are the backbone of this company, and after the incredible work that they have done throughout the pandemic, it’s more important than ever to celebrate them.”

She continued: “I’m really proud of our carers and the exceptional work they do for our customers every day. Every single member of our Helping Hands team embodies the foundation of our company: kindness. We appreciate them so much, and this video is just a small token of our gratitude to them.”

Helpings Hands carer Vicky Graham-Stevenson said: “I have worked for Helping Hands for nearly a year now and I can honestly say they are the best care company to work for. You are made to feel welcome from the day you have your interview and every day thereafter. If you are looking for a career in care come and join our family, I promise you won’t regret it!”

Helping Hands has a network of over 5,000 visiting and live-in carers across England and Wales and were winners of the Glassdoor 2019 Best Places to Work award.
