Live-in care may also be suitable if you have a complex health condition that requires constant nursing care assistance, such after a stroke, a tracheostomy or stoma. With the support of our experienced nursing team, we can arrange for a bespoke support plan to be put in place that takes every single one of your needs into account and ensures that they are met to the best of our ability. That way, you can get the care that you need in the place that you love – your home.

Also known as visiting care, domiciliary care allows you to have the freedom and autonomy that you desire but also gives you the help that you might need along the way. This type of flexible care is also great if your family lives a fair distance away and is unable to pop in all of the time to check that you’re okay. Once we’ve established exactly what it is you need support with – shopping, cleaning, attending appointments or personal care – we’ll put a plan in place to make sure that you have the right level of support for you.

Not only will we help out with gentle medication reminders, making your meals or accompanying you to the shops, but we’ll take the time to get to know you and talk about the things that interest you – whether that’s your favourite TV programme or reminiscing about childhood memories.

We’ll even be there for you if you struggle to get out and about and just want someone to talk to and share some lunch with. No one should ever have to feel lonely in their own home, and our friendly carers will certainly make sure that that doesn’t happen.

If you rely upon a close friend or family member to care for you but they need to take a break or tend to an emergency, respite care could be just the thing to keep all of your health and welfare needs maintained without disrupting your normal routines.

For planned breaks, we’ll ensure that a carer and manager meets with both of you to discuss your care requirements and preferences, so that everything stays just as you like it while your regular caregiver is away. In emergencies when meeting prior to care commencing isn’t possible, we can usually arrange care within 24 hours of your first enquiry with us, giving everyone involved reassurance that you aren’t left without care and support.
