Visiting care and live-in care in Romford

You might just need support getting out and about in the local community and visiting Romford Market, or help with more complex care needs due to a prolonged medical condition; either way, our local team are here for you.

We can support you with short, regular calls throughout the week with our visiting care service. This is when a private carer will pop in at an agreed time to make sure you’re okay, tidy up and perhaps prepare your lunch, for example. Visiting care covers support with activities of daily living, including personal care, housework and help with medication and mobility. Alternatively, we can stay for longer if you need round-the-clock care – our live-in care service will allow you to relax in the safety and comfort of your home whilst getting 24-hour care for more complex needs.

Meet the team

Jaspreet Kaur

Meet Jaspreet Kaur, our Branch Care Manager, Romford

My role is to support the vulnerable in helping them feel safe, whilst also giving them the confidence to become independent. I will be ensuring my responsibilities remain consistent, to help the people we support. I started working in care shortly after learning about my husband’s chronic rare autoimmune condition. I saw how he dealt with it daily, while also empowering others through his job as a personal trainer/nutritionist and using his own experiences to motivate others through their own challenges. The care services were the reason he was able to gain the positives he needed to help himself while also beginning to help others. I saw what areas could do with improvement after seeing what was lacking in supporting him, and when we made our changes, they led to him making further improvements in himself. I wanted to be someone that made that change, to make a real difference in other people’s lives that we support. I feel we provide the best possible service to our clients, considering all their desired outcomes and we work closely with your loved ones to achieve a better quality of life. I have a young family, so a lot of my time is spent with them. I enjoy the little things in life, a cup of tea with my neighbour or a stroll in the park with kids/friends. I host a book club; I choose 12 books for the year and every month we review the books. I’m looking to continue this in my branch and get my clients involved. I love to read!

Private, person-centred care gives you control over what your care plan ends up looking like – although you can, of course, adapt your care plan along the way as your needs change. From choosing your own mealtimes to determining visiting hours, the decisions will be in your hands, meaning your carer can provide assistance in the areas that you need it most and you’ll be able to spend doing the things you enjoy with the people you love.
