What is Hourly Care?

Contact Us - 0808 180 9006Hourly care, sometimes called domiciliary care, is a less intensive care service designed to help independent individuals stay in the comfort of their own home.  It is for people who require some help around the house with chores, errands or personal care needs.

We work closely with customers, families, social services and other healthcare professionals to ensure we deliver the right level of care, tailored to meet the needs of our service users. For the safety of our customers all of our Carers are vetted by the Criminal Records Bureau, are fully trained, always carry a Helping Hands identification badge and wear a Helping Hands uniform.  Our service is rated “excellent” by the Care Quality Commission.

As an additional level of reassurance, our registered nurses are available for advice should you need them; they also ensure that the care we provide continues to meet the needs of the customer and we also provide a 24/7 emergency telephone line.

We are also able to provide a sitting service. This where a carer arrives at the property keeping the person requiring care company for between 2 - 4 hours, allowing the regular carer/family member to take a break.
