“I am so grateful to be working for Helping Hands and I love what the company stands for. I am able to do what I love for a company that makes a difference in people’s lives – and that’s a very rare thing to find.”
Jaskiran has always loved to write, whether it’s a film review, blog or PR advert, all she wanted to do is see her name published. This was made possible after she completed her degree in BA (Hons) English and Film & TV Studies and went on to do work experience with Sky Magazine (BSkyB). They kept her on as a features assistant, which opened a lot of opportunities for her.
She continued to write for a variety of print and web publications, including Woman magazine, Woman Diet Special, Bella, Total TV Guide, TV Choice and The National Paper (U.A.E). During her magazine career, she had the opportunity to attend press conferences, launches and interview celebrities, including the Downton Abbey cast.
Coming from a big family and having children of her own, Jaskiran wanted to use her writing skills to make a difference, which is why she joined Helping Hands as a content writer in November 2021. It made her realise how important it is to spend time with your loved ones. She has also worked for a children’s charity nursery.
In her spare time, Jaskiran loves to spend time with her family and two boys. She also loves her desserts, afternoon teas and cinema trips with her other half.
