Cost of overnight care
How much does overnight care cost?
At Helping Hands, person-centred, overnight care is available from £220 per person per night.
We understand that everyone’s care needs are unique, which is why we provide a variety of care services, such as overnight care, to suit your requirements. Perhaps you care for a loved one during the day and are worried about leaving them at night; then overnight care is a viable option for you. Or perhaps you are living with a complex condition and need support managing your symptoms at night; then we can step in to help.
Overnight care is available seven days a week and our compassionate carers will support you throughout the night. Whether you or a loved one needs support going to the toilet, help with mobility or just some extra companionship knowing someone is there, our compassionate and empathetic carers will always be by your side.
Is overnight care cheaper than a care home?
Overnight care costs tend to be the same as or, at times, less than receiving support at a residential care home.
Even if you find yourself paying a little extra, with overnight care, you’ll receive the benefit of remaining in the place you love most: home. You’ll be in a familiar environment, close to your personal possessions and be able to sleep in your own bed. After all, there’s nothing like being at home.
Plus, you’ll receive person-centred, overnight care from our carers. Unlike residential care homes, our focus will be solely on you; after all, our priority is you.
The cost of a single night's visit
You can receive exceptional overnight care from £220 per night for a single night's visit.
Your overnight care is fully personalised to your needs and our carers will stay with you for approximately 10 hours. Timings will be discussed between you and your local branch manager to see what suits best.
Overnight care will benefit you immensely, giving you and your loved ones the reassurance and support you need during the night. Here are just a few ways we can help:
Help with the bedtime routine
Our carers can arrive just before you get into bed. We can help you brush your teeth, change into your pyjamas and even have a hot cup of milk on your bedside table.
Assist you with medication
If you need to take any medication before you put your head on the pillow, our carers are fully trained to provide you with this care. So, you don’t have to worry.
Support available all night
You won’t have to worry about being alone; our carers will be right by your side until the sun rises. Whether you need help with mobility support, going to the toilet or even a drink of water, you can count on us.
Help you get ready in the morning
We can help get you up in the morning when you wish and support you with bathing and getting dressed. We can even have breakfast ready on the table for you.
Paying for overnight care costs
We understand that it can be a bit daunting when it comes to financial costs, but here’s a breakdown to help. Plus, there are funding options available to help you save those pennies.
Always upfront
We are always transparent with our costs and you’ll only pay the agreed price for your overnight care. You won’t be surprised with any hidden fees or costs.
Financial support
Depending on your personal circumstances, you may be entitled to care funding and benefits from your local authority. These include Pensions Credit, Attendance allowance and Carer’s Allowance for those caring for loved ones.
Private funding
Most of our customers pay privately via direct debit payments. Even if you receive funding, you can top up your payments via direct debit.
