Balance your life between home and the UK
If you’re passionate about caring for someone in need, opportunities for UK carer jobs are opening up each and every day with Helping Hands. By working as a live-in carer, you can mix your time between your home country and working in the UK.
Here at Helping Hands, we provide care in the home for adults of all ages, giving them the choice and independence to live the life they want. Thousands of our carers across England and Wales are making a difference every day by providing personal support and companionship for people living with dementia, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries and Parkinson’s, to name a few.
You don’t need experience or qualifications in care to apply as we provide all the training you need. What’s more important is that you’re a naturally caring and compassionate person with excellent English Language skills and have a calling to care for someone on a one-to-one basis.
Many of our carers from other countries – like Spain, Greece, Portugal, Romania, Hungary and South Africa – are mixing work as a live-in carer in the UK with spending time with family back home. As a live-in carer, each placement lasts for a period of weeks followed by time-off, which you can use to explore the country or return home.
