My father Gerald who lived alone was starting to need some extra help so we contacted Helping Hands and arranged a visit everyday to help with chores. Dad loved the company and the support. Everyone who visited was so kind and supportive to Dad and nothing was too much trouble. They even helped out with evening visits for a week when me and my brother were away on holiday at the same time. This wasn't on their rota but they did it as a favour and we were so grateful. We have only stopped using Helping Hands as Dad is now in a home and can not live alone. I would recommend Helping Hands and I am grateful to everyone who visited and cared for Dad at Swan Court and their friendship, he looked forward to their visits. Thank you

I would like to say how amazing this company is from the office to the careers we are in regular contact we really couldn't do with out there support we as a family meet with 4 care provides and this one by far was the most helpful, giving us everything that we wanted explained in detail the processes we got regular updates and telephone calls to make sure that everything was as we wanted. thank you again outstanding service.

The Leicester branch of Helping Hands has provided great care to my grandmother. The family live quite some way away and having Helping Hands go in and visit has helped keep her living independently for much longer than she would have been able to otherwise. Her regular carers have been fantastic, regularly going above and beyond their roles and genuinely caring for her. I can't thank them enough.

The ladies in the office are very approachable and friendly. Any problems I have had I have spoke to the manager Louisa and she’s been very helpful and carried out solutions to solve the problem.

My carer is very helpful and polite always been on time and never too much a problem for her. We would recommend Helping Hands and certainly Dannie.

Because the assistance we are having is just what we require and our Carer is very kind, efficient and a pleasure to have in our home

We are very satisfied all round. I would have scored 10 but for the fact that we did not know that Chloe our office coordinator had left and we have not heard who has replaced her. Just be nice to have an email update when such changes occur as we build relationships with the coordinator.

Both the carers so far have been polite, friendly and professional. I understand that due to staff shortages the regular carers are not in place yet. Happy with service so far but would be better if the regular team of carers were on board

The person who visited me was very warm and professional, and made me feel that Helping hands would meet my needs.

She was professional, friendly, sympathetic and seemed to genuinely care about her work. She was in no hurry to ask her questions and spent time getting to know my father's situation and his life story.

Dads careers going in morning and evening has taken a massive strain off me and my brother. It's such a relief knowing that someone else is helping

In the last 3 months there has been a more consistent team of carers dealing with Dad. He is very happy with all those who visit him. They are caring and considerate towards him and he generally feels quite relaxed with each one of them.. Thank you.

I rely on the carers to look after my Aunt as I live a long way away and they communicate to me very well and always look after heard above and beyond expectations

The Helping Hands team has been thoughtful and considerate in their care.

Sometimes the carers arrive at 11.30 and not 10.30 as specified.. My mother cannot bend down to clean floors etc and sometimes the person that comes cannot bend down so they really are a waste of time coming.. Kavita is very thorough

The carers are great. However I feel that the communication isn't quite up to speed. Messages seem to be delayed or not passed on. This area of the service could be improved.

Helpful not pushy helped me at a difficult time day that went like this 60 mile drive to Mums to shop cook strip bed make bed no time to sit and chat to her come out of hospital with no promised care package Cleaner on holiday 60 mile drive home to my ironing and work!

Annie is great. She goes to mum most mornings and they have a good chat while she does mum's breakfast, takes her temperature, makes sure mum takes her pills. I feel that she's keeping an eye out for mum and will contact me if there's any problem.

The person that came was very interested in getting the right information to make sure they knew how to care for Mum.

Very friendly & fairly efficient. but not always at the same time of day if usual carer not available, which is a bit disconcerting. A no show Tues 30th July. Had confirmed dropping Tuesdays from August so was expected on the 30th July. Otherwise very happy with service thanks.
