Visiting care and live-in care in Maidenhead

A historic town nestled on the bank of the River Thames, Windsor is a beautiful setting just a stone’s throw from the hustle and bustle of London’s centre. With the rich history of Windsor Castle – built in the 11th century by William the Conqueror and now a residence of the Royal Family – there’s plenty on offer in this stunning town, including care from your local team of Helping Hands carers.

With your independence at the heart of what we do, the team are here to provide bespoke home care services in Windsor, Maidenhead, Slough, Burnham, Cookham, Edham, Fulmer, Horton, Oakley Green, Bray, Hedgerley, Holyport, Boveney, Fifield and the surrounding areas.

Meet the team

Jo McCluskey

Meet Jo McCluskey, our Area Care Manager, Maidenhead

My main roles and responsibilities as area care manager are to oversee and improve the running of the branches within the south west. I am responsible for ensuring we are providing a safe service and that we are delivering high standards of care and supporting the branch managers. I joined the care industry over 20 years ago, mainly due to a personal experience of a family member receiving care. This inspired me to want to work in an industry where I felt I could make a small difference to someone's life and also something I found rewarding. I love to go for walks in the countryside, and I like to read, especially a good biography. I have two young grandchildren that keep me very busy, and I enjoy spending time with them going for days out and holidays. I also really enjoy going to the cinema to watch a good movie.

Live-in care for round-the-clock support

Live-in care is a perfect alternative to residential care when you are in need of more intensive support but don’t want to leave the comfort of your own home. With live-in care packages available from as little as three days, a carer will live with you in your home so you can rest assured that you will always have someone to call on.

We understand that inviting someone new into your home can be daunting, but Anskaria and her team are here to offer guidance and support throughout your care journey to alleviate any worries you may have. What’s more, we won’t just find a carer to support you practically; we’ll work closely with you to select a carer that shares your hobbies and interests, so you have more than just care; you have friendship. So if you’re passionate about British history and want someone to enjoy the stories of Windsor Castle with, your carer will be there enjoying it with you.
