in a,really troubling time the care given was exellent.very loving and considerate careers ,helping my dad get back on his feet .THANK YOU

The team are very helpful and normally address any issues that I have. My mum has carers in the morning and I would like additional help for some some evenings. However there appears to be some staffing issues. I do appreciate that due to covid staffing is a very real issue. I just hope that in the new year this can be resolved. This is not a criticism of the staff or a management just a problem that would be helpful if could resolve in the future .

It is mainly a bit of company and trips out my mother needs at this moment in time, the only reason for scoring 4 not 5 is they have very limmitted knowledge of the local area, her memory isn't good even though I tried giving her a list, so properly very boring for your staff, but she is content.

The main carer who visits is absolutely excellent.

Kelly was empathetic and knowledgeable and carried out the assessment in a professional manor and followed up promptly

Jennifer knew her stuff and even during that visit she chased progress with OT. She was helpful and made some good suggestions.

The lady who came to speak to my parents and me was very helpful and ticked all boxes

Good listener,very nice manner, punctual, showed sensitivity towards both parents, no sense of rushing off, interested in all elements being discussed despite fact she was deputising for someone else. Kelly was a very nice lady and represented Helping Hands well.

Jennifer was extremely helpful and friendly, talked through all of our needs and told us how Helping Hands could help us.

Answered all of the questions that I asked in a sympathetic manner with no sense of being rushed or any hard sell. Followed up on promises to email information too. For an initial enquiry I was very satisfied, thank you.

Arrived on time, listened to what dad needed, was friendly and helpful and got everything sorted for him.

The carers provide excellent care under difficult circumstances and the care manager is easy to communicate with and very reliable. Most important of all, they turn up when they say they're going to, which not all care companies can be relied to do.

I started asking for help as additional support, the carers have been wonderful. I'm not sure my mother fully understands why they come. My point of view is if she needs extra help she will be used to their visits, although it is ussually the same person, Vicki who is wonderful. Learning totrust a carer takes time, which I believe my mother now has. One day we will have to ask more than a lift out, and hopefully she will have the trust toallow any extra help needed, that I don't feel able to give. That is a fantastic help from helping hands and Iwould recommend thatto everyone.
