Rapid response care FAQs
Rapid response care is support that is provided at short notice to those who unexpectedly and urgently finding themselves needing additional care – whether there’s been an accident, a sudden illness or you’ve been let down by your current carer.
After hospital care can be arranged for the same day that you’re discharged, so that you’re supported as soon as you get home. Depending on the reason for your stay and the level of care you’ll require, your doctors and nurses will discuss your discharge with you and sometimes other professionals, too, so that you can prepare for when you leave hospital. For those who are discharged at short notice, we can arrange care in as little as 24 hours.
Our live-in carers are all trained to provide compassionate, reassuring end-of-life care at home, providing the whole family with invaluable reassurance and emotional support. End-of-life care allows you to remain in the place you feel most comfortable and safe as you approach the final months and weeks of your life.
We are, in some instances, able to provide customers with same-day emergency live-in care. The availability of same-day care will depend on factors such as your level of need and how busy we are at that particular time. Call us today to find out how soon we can provide you with a carer in your home.
