Following a period of hospitalisation my aunt needed ongoing help with personal care and domestic tasks to live in her home. I am so thankful we chose Helping Hands. The care team were excellent. The visiting staff were professional, reliable and incredibly kind. They provided my auntie with the company and support she needed to live at home and she looked forward to their visits. My family and I would highly recommend the Lincoln branch of Helping Hands. Communication and organisation from office team was outstanding. Times were made flexible to meet our changing needs and rotas were given well in advance. Nothing was too much to ask and this meant we felt supported, reassured and able to manage at home. Helping Hands have been providing care for my Nan for a few years now. As nan's needs have changed, the level of support has increased and Nan has been able to stay in the home she loves. The Helping Hands staff have gone above and beyond in supporting Nan and she feels safe and cared for.

Right from my initial enquiry the team at Helping Hands stood out from the many others I had called. Eleanor at HQ was professional, understanding and responsive. Her part in the journey was excellent. At our initial face to face meeting it was clear to see Helping Hands were client centred, thorough in the information they both shared and gathered, which I found very reassuring. Then once the care plan had been agreed, the team that visit are wonderful. With 4 visits a week we’ve experienced some fabulous care givers who are organised, skilled and most importantly caring in their delivery. The team at the Leeds office are super helpful if we need to amend a visit or even add in an extra one, they regularly check in with us to see how things are going and I feel very pleased that we have such a thoughtful service caring for my Dad. We are delighted that we chose Helping hands and I would definitely recommend Helping Hands to other people. Thank you.

We can’t recommend the Huddersfield branch of Helping Hands enough. We needed in home care visits for my mum at short notice and the team were able to accommodated our needs immediately. All contact - on the phone and in person - has been outstanding. They were able to give specific times for the visits, as opposed to a time slot which made it much easier for mum. The carers who came to help were extremely professional, kind and compassionate. They all built up a great rapport with her so quickly and were genuinely lovely with her. Unfortunately mum had a fall and was found by one of the carers who was in contact with the care phone provider/ambulance and passed on all the relevant information to me and my brother. He stayed with mum, ensured that her dignity was preserved and made her laugh and smile at a really difficult time for her. We can’t thank the team enough and would highly recommend them.

When l needed help for my elderly parents staff really listened to our needs. Service has been excellent and recently l have had to change appointment times and days a lot but Adele and Ursula have done a fantastic job to make sure my parents have the care they need. Thank you to the Newark team - you made a big difference to our lives.

After doing my own research for an established care company, i luckily found Helping Hands in Wokingham, being a family run business with core values in promoting independence in your own home, whilst maintaining a compassionate approach. i have been using Helping hands for over two years now and will continue to do so as my needs change, The office staff Monika, Tiffany and Emma are very friendly and approachable, on occasions where I've had to phone they have all gone the extra mile in accommodating me, Further more the home manager Stuart is a real tonic, and has given me good advise and care options for my needs, while keeping my independence, Helping hands is a fantastic company, and i would not hesitate to recommend them, all the carers that visit me, have sunny personalities. have my best interests at heart and i really enjoyed their visits

Helping Hands provided support for both my dad and more recently, my mum. I can not recommend Helping Hands highly enough. Without exception the carers have been very kind and attentive. They showed great patience with both my parents. I was impressed with the quality of the relationships they built with my dad and mum. The carers got to know how my parents liked things to be done, their preferences and their funny ways. The carers provided a whole range of care and support. They helped my parents with personal care, jobs around the house, shopping and social trips. Nothing was too much trouble. I have been equally impressed with the office team.
