Fresh air in Southend-on-sea
Care isn’t always just about supporting someone with the practicalities; it can be something as simple as popping in once a day to have a chat over a cup of tea or accompanying someone to the local park for some fresh air. This is exactly what Amanda, a carer from Southend-on Sea, did for her customer Natasha, who hadn’t left her home for months due to severe anxiety. After spending time with her at home, Amanda gently encouraged Natasha to take a stroll outside.
She was reluctant at first, but once she took her first few steps out of her front door, she was eager to keep going. They even discovered a play area for Natasha to take her granddaughter to. So now, whenever she comes to visit, Natasha feels confident enough to take her granddaughter out to enjoy the great outdoors by herself.
