Nursing-led care plans from Helping Hands carers
Helping Hands is proud to be a specialist and leading organisation of live-in care to meet complex care needs. Unlike many live-in care agencies, we employ a passionate nursing team and regional trainers who manage and supervise the medical interventions and medication administration our carers provide.
Sometimes called personal assistants or PAs, our carers are able to deliver specialist nursing support including gastrostomy management, PEG feeding, insulin administration and continence care.

Assistance with insulin injections

Now, with his Helping Hands live-in carer, Gary no longer needs to wait around for the district nurse to give him intermittent bowel care. Plus, as his carer provides continuous support at home and while Gary is out and about, his insulin injections are always on time, no matter where he is.
Carers with ongoing training and support
Part of the Helping Hands commitment to our customers is to ensure that each and every one of our carers is closely monitored through meetings with their care manager, registered nurse and regional trainers. Also, where needed, customer-specific training is given to ensure the carer can do the best job possible. Our service evolves with the customer so we can provide sustainable support in the home.
