Help with the laundry and cleaning the house
Laundry and cleaning services offer a little bit of extra help that can really make a difference.
When you’re constantly on the go, it’s understandable that the household chores get pushed to the bottom of the priority list.
Maybe you’re juggling work and life commitments or just don’t have enough hours in the day. With a professional assistant to support with cleaning the house, washing and drying clothes and even doing the ironing, all of this and more can be taken care of for you – and always following your instructions and personal preferences.

Tidying the home
Whether it’s giving your home a tidy at the end of each day, taking the rubbish out, cleaning the fireplace or anything else, your carer can help out
Washing and drying up
As well as preparing meals, our carers can clean them up – including stacking the dishwasher, washing up, and putting everything away

An assistant can ensure your living areas are always a pleasant place to be, skirting boards, and bedrooms ready for when you come home

Laundry support to suit you
A bit of extra help with the laundry can make it easier to look forward to the day ahead.
A full laundry bin can sometimes creep on you quite quickly. A housekeeping assistant can take care of this on a designated weekly ‘laundry day’, or help you to keep on top of things at regular times each week.
Laundry services can include:
Cleaning bed linen
Stripping beds and collecting dirty towels from around the house, and handwashing anything delicate
Separating colours
Sorting clothes and other laundry ready for the washing machine, such as whites and dark colours
Drying clothes
Emptying the washing machine and drying clothes on the washing line, indoors or in a tumble dryer
Ironing and folding
Ironing clothes and either hanging them in wardbrobes or folding them neatly in drawers
Flexible help with cleaning and laundry
Your home is your castle and so it’s natural you will want things done in a certain way. After an initial meeting with your local care manager to establish your needs, your personal assistant can visit at set times and will always respect your personal preferences.
Arranging additional support can help you to get a sense of routine and order if you’re becoming overwhelmed by the number of duties you need to keep track of. Even just an hour in the morning to put the dishwasher on and wipe down the surfaces can go a long way.
Because our cleaning and laundry services are flexible to suit your requirements, you still have complete control over what support you receive. You can always ask your assistant to focus on the tasks that are more important at that particular time.
