Quality homecare for you and your pet
The onset of old age or illness doesn’t have to be a reason to give up your lifestyle, or your pets. Home care services provide you with an alternative to residential care or a hospice and enables you and your pet to stay at home together.
Your pet’s health and happiness can play a big part in how you feel yourself, so for this reason your care plan can be tailored to suit both of you.
Being around your pet can reduce stress, provide companionship and give you a sense of purpose and routine. Remaining in your own home with them can be beneficial to you whilst keeping your pet in the place that they are most familiar.
What our pet services cover
Your pets bring happiness and comfort every day, no matter what shape or size they may be. Essential jobs can cause a little too much strain if you are elderly or unwell, so your carer will either carry out these tasks for you, or assist you to help keep up your usual routine.
Both live-in and visiting carers will be able to provide assistance with all manner of pet care and support to keep you living independently at home together.
Feeding your pets
Your pet’s dietary requirements can be just as particular as yours, if not more so! Your pet will be fed and watered to your exact specifications to keep them and you happy and healthy.
Cleaning cages and litter trays
Your carefully selected carer will support you with the messier tasks that come with being a pet owner. Your carer will be happy to carry out cleaning duties such as emptying litter trays and cleaning out fish tanks and cages.
Dog walking and other exercises
The routine you maintain with your pet is important to you both, so your local carer will manage walks and exercising for you to take off the pressure and make sure your pet doesn’t have to be rehomed.
You might run out of pet food unexpectedly, or have a visit to the vets arranged that you are unable to get to yourself. Our carers will gladly pop to the shops or acommpany you and your pet on errands or appointments.
