Working at Helping Hands

Working at Helping Hands

At Helping Hands, our foundation is kindness.

Beginning from the kitchen table, to a now thousands strong team. At Helping Hands, we’re united by the belief that everyone should live well, in the homes and communities they love. Through the years, this has brought together people with that shared passion. People who are kind, purpose-driven and impact led. People that create joy in moments big and small.

And our passion has never faded. We’re one thriving team lead by our purpose. Here, you’re part of a team, part of a community. One that’s ambitious. A network of people that supports each other, shares knowledge, recognises and celebrates the work we do.

Recognising our people

In 2025, we were recognised by the Financial Times as a Top 500 Employer.  Our carer Reward and Recognition Programme – Moments of Kindness – has recognised thousands of our people.  These awards celebrate the impact of small gestures and the actions of carers who go the extra mile to create joy, raise a smile, offer reassurance or a sense of calm, helping people live well in the homes and communities they love.
