Just a thank you to all the lovely staff at helping hands. Nothing is too much for you. We feel confident with you helping us look after my 92 year old dad. Thanks to you all would not hesitate to recommend you to others.
We approached Helping Hands as we were struggling to care for our mum. We haven’t had any carers in the past and wasn’t sure how well it would go. I’m pleased to say it was the best thing we did. All the staff are lovely and caring and any issues sorted out instantly. I would fully recommend Helping Hands to anyone seeking care. We feel so lucky to have had you as mums carers. It put our mind at rest that she enjoyed you going .
Helping hands are the best carers around, ive never had a problems,I only use then every 4 weeks for 2 one hour care visit for my wife, the carer lottie is outstanding and caring and my wife gets on with her great,I wouldn't go else where.helping hands are caring and understanding,I don't need to worry when I'm on my day trips because I know my wife is cared for, rate the service 10/10.
My husband and I are absolutely delighted to have found this service: all the staff are reliable, friendly and efficient. We use them on an occasional basis, when I am away with family, and they are very helpful and flexible. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
My Mum had Dementia and we started using Helping hands before she became fully dependent for companionship, accompanying to the hair dressers etc. We increased this to the point of around 30 hours per week in the last year and they have been fantastic. The carers really do care, Mum saw them as her friends. They helped her live with her condition in the best way possible even through Covid to the point that we kept her living at home until she passed away. I’m not sure what we’d have done without them.
Branch manager (Ellen) is very much on the ball had some very good carers and any issues we've had dealt with promptly and courteously

From the first phone call i made to inquire about visits for mum the service has been second to none; a prompt, professional and individualized approach was clearly evident. Mum has had amazing continuity from such wonderful carers who are truly attentive and compassionate of mum's needs. This is helping mum stay in her own home and happy, it is invaluable support for us as a family knowing she is in such safe hands.
The care my mum is receiving from Helping Hands is excellent. Someone visits her every day to ensure she is well and managing OK. The carers are punctual and provide excellent feedback in their records as to how mum is each day. This gives us peace of mind that someone is able to see my mum when we live a distance away from her home. Mum enjoys seeing her carers and chatting to them. The organisation of the care is efficient and professional and managers get back to us quickly to address any queries. I would recommend Helping Hands in Beverley to other families seeking support for their relatives.
The lady Lindsay was very friendly and informative..X
Always contactable and responsive Staff continue to be professional ,extremely caring and effective Making a positive difference, enhancing dads life Thank you
Very professional. Answered all questions clearly. Excellent bedside manner with our mam.
I am very please with the care we get for my mum. Her carer always gives us 100% and has become a famliy friend.
A representative phoned back very quickly after my e-mail enquiry. She was very pleasant and put my mind at ease very quickly.
Lauren was very helpful in explaining what care was available, costs and process of arranging care.
My first contact with service, approachable, friendly, answered my questions and set up meeting to proceed. Met my expectations
I felt reassured that the assessor was experienced in her field and could answer my questions and provide a number of solutions. She also had a conversation with my wife who has Dementia to obtain further useful information when making her assessment, which helped us in the consultation, to come to a suitable arrangement for further visits.
As this is my first contact with the company via the telephone I would say that all the information I relayed was taken on board and an assessment arrangement set up very quickly, which takes the stress off the waiting. The receptionist was very polite and asked all the right questions. It is early days but I feel confident we can work together to make a care plan that suits our needs.
Carer Damoin has been really courteous, understanding and a valuable companion to my 93 year old father
Understood what I was asking and quickly proposed options
Generally the quality of the carers is excellent. They are professional, caring and punctual. It is easy to contact the local branch by email or phone and they always respond promptly. My only reservation relates to Head Office and the invoices but I may be unlucky so I have not reduced the scoring for that reason.
I am satisfied with the service given.
The care is for my elderly parents, and having helping hands on board has given me peace of mind. I work four days a week and while I am at work I know they have someone popping in to make sure they are ok. My parents are very happy with this support, and my mum loves her carer.
Very helpful & understanding staff
Happy with everything at the moment. Debbie is great with Bobbie. She's perfect for our needs.. Only thing I would like to bring up (and this is because I asked the question), is the extra 3.50 or 2.50 for our carers travel, does she actually get this?
Help and attitude of staff we have met rate a 5
All was very professional and pleasant. Thank you
Too soon to tell long term only had you 2 days
Current carers support my mum well and understand her needs. I can rely on them to ensure my mums needs are met.
The lady I spoke to was very helpful and compassionate and made a difficult conversation about my father very easy. It was great that I could speak to someone on Sunday too.
Very efficient.
Supportive, understanding staff.
Everyone I have met have been so nice
Extremely helpful
I found Linsley very helpful and sympathetic on guiding me through the relevant services, options and costs and organising a visit by the local manager.
Everyone at Helping Hands s first class.they make everything so easy when assessing your needs and the person they assigned to me is amazing. I don't know what I did without her. I would recommend the Company to anyone.
I am responding on behalf of my 95 yr old aunt. Having experienced other companies whilst my mother was alive, I have found our Helping Hands team, from the management team to our wonderful team, are professional, compassionate and simply a joy each day. They enabled me to have a week's holiday and be able to continue working knowing my aunt is being so well cared for. Thank you!
All carers v pleasant and on time. The morning time still complicated but that's nobody's fault.
Ladies are extremely professional. Dad really comfortable with them. Really delighted with high level of care
The carers who have been to see my mum are kind and patient. My mother is hard to please, but she really likes these ladies. The agency is also very good at keeping me informed of any concerns they think I should be aware of.
