At Helping Hands we have been delivering care at home since 1989, so our customers don’t need to move into a residential care home, our carers go to them. Remaining at home, allows our customers to stay in the place where they feel safe, comfortable and at peace, which is why we believe home is better.

If you feel you have what it takes to provide exceptional care, then get in touch now. Having previous care experience isn’t essential as you’ll receive full training. However, you’ll need to be empathetic, kind and always willing to put others first. 

As a carer your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and serving meals
• Assisting with personal care such as bathing and getting dressed
• Taking customers to their medical appointments
• Supporting with household duties, such as the washing, laundry and changing bedding
• Assist with mobility – use of hoists may be required, but full training will be given
• Supporting with admin duties
• Helping with daily errands
• Providing companionship
