Whether you need support for just 30 minutes per week, several times a day, or around the clock live-in care, we can help. Regardless of the condition you are living with, we will have carers experienced with it, and they will support you throughout your care pathway. We support some of our customers for years as their condition gradually changes, or we’ll be there for your palliative journey, until the very end. We can support you overnight, short-term or in an emergency; nothing is too difficult for our dedicated teams, and we can even provide nursing care for the most complex cases, where necessary.
Domiciliary care
When you say domiciliary care to someone they presume it means visits at home, and in the majority this is true. However, you may not realise that Helping Hands also provides live-in domiciliary care, short-term or overnight care, in fact whatever you need to live your highest quality of life at home. Whether you need personal or continence care, help with getting out of bed, getting dressed, meal preparation, medication support, help with mobility, housework or pretty well anything else, our amazing carers will ensure you’re comfortable and secure in the home you love and don’t want to have to leave.
Our amazing Corby team are friendly, compassionate and knowledgeable when it comes to caring for their customers at home, so you really are in the best hands with Helping Hands. We train all of our carers when they first join us and ensure that they have opportunities for development throughout their career with us, however for the qualities that we cannot train – compassion, empathy and kindness – we ensure that they have those naturally when we first select them. Also, because we’re fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, you can have total peace of mind about our commitment to always delivering exceptional standards of care.
