Home care in Corby
Visiting care and home care in Corby
The earliest signs of human settlement in Corby were discovered in 1970, and took the form of Mesolithic and Neolithic artefacts that date back to the Bronze Age. The town was first permanently settled in the 8th Century, when Danish settlers named it ‘Kori’s by’ – meaning Kori’s settlement.
At Helping Hands, we haven’t quite been around since the Bronze Age, but we do have over 30 years’ experience in providing expert, dedicated home care that makes a real difference to our customers’ quality of life. With visiting care plans starting from just half an hour a week and live-in carers who can provide you with round-the-clock support, we can put together a care plan that is fully adapted to your personal care requirements and preferences.

Area Care Manager
Hello, I’m Denny, area manager for Helping Hands’ Central region. It’s my responsibility to meet with customers to gain feedback on a regular basis and ensure that they are happy with our service, to meet potential new customers face-to-face and to manage a wonderful team of visiting carers, supporting them with supervisions and appraisals. I am also a Dementia Champion, which has really developed my understanding of support and supervision for those working with, and living with, the condition.
