We selected Helping Hands to provide in home care for my elderly mother who suffered from vascular dementia. The care provided was excellent, each carer was courteous and empathetic to my mothers condition and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to someone in a similar situation.

My family approached Helping Hands for company and monitoring of my elderly father during lockdown originally and as he has aged and developed more complex needs they have been with him and my brother and I throughout. I own my own hair salon and was recommended to H. H. by a couple of clients. Once we were moved from Alcester branch, which had a few problems at the time, to Coventry the level of care and compassion from all staff increased hugely. My dad was obviously happier with them and my brother and I were given great comfort in this and the ongoing guidance and support. I can only compare the 2 different branches of H. H. that we experienced and whilst Coventry has been an excellent fit for the family to the extent I recommend them to anybody who asks, or stands still long enough, and 2 of my customers have already taken up the recommendation and now have H. H. for their loved ones. In a time when my father has been let down badly by his surgery H. H have a constant. We are soo lucky and grateful to have them.

This care company is the best I've come across. The care team are all very kind and considerate, and are very helpful and compassionate, they are willing to help with anything.

I would highly recommend helping hands. They cared for my aunt and my only regret is they were not in place sooner. A fantastic team of carers and office staff. Thank you and thank you for the support you gave her partner too.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the carers who attend my call. Especially in these extraordinary times, my carers enter my home with a happy, smiling, and pleasant demeanour. The carers always conduct themselves in a professional way. It must be very hard to conduct themselves to this level of expertise in every call, to which I am very grateful they attend to me. I must highlight the regular staff who attend to me I'm night and weekend mornings. I look forward to their visits immensely, I'm value there presents together with the other members of the team greatly. I must also praise the office staff and the branch manager who are hard-working and conscientious in helping me maintain as much Independence as possible. Once again thank you Sharon Harris and all your team.

Your carers are kind, patient and very professional. They really do 'care' about the people they look after, and treat them with respect, compassion and dignity.

On a whole the carer team that by Dad has are brilliant. They respond well to him and care for his basic needs as much as my dad allows them to. They are always smiling and communicate well with Dad reassuring him and giving him the encouragement he needs.

It's very early days yet, but so far, carer has turned up on time, taken everything in her stride, and has been lovely with Anne. She's also stayed for the allotted period, which is something the previous company struggled to do. Thank you!

My wife and I felt comfortable with the Assessor in our house, who conducted the interview in a business-like manner. All her questions were pertinent and our queries answered in a straightforward way. At the end we were happy that our expectations would be met by the same Carer each week.

The regular person is a 5 every time. Marked 4 as one replacement was late and another did not dry my mum off fully after a shower. If the mark had been for replacements only would have been 3

Sharon was very helpful and understood the care requirements my Aunt needed, she was good also at checking she was happy with the arrangements as she was reluctant but knowing it was required to keep her in her own home at a difficult time health wise. Best of all Sharon promised to provide care the same evening which was extremely helpful to myself.

Although it took a while for my call to be answered, Chloe was helpful and professional. Helping hands seem to be able to for fill my needs too. The manager is able to come and visit the next day which is very accommodating.

The assessor listened to my Mum and engaged, she also took on board the concerns I raised for my Mum's care as she is later stage of Alzheimer's and may have high levels of anxiety as she will forget the carer and will be frightened. She aliviated some of my concerns.
