My sister arranged for Helping Hands to visit as I had a hip replacement. The Care Assistants are so helpful 100 percent professional. I would definitely recommend Helping Hands to someone else seeking help. In fact I have done just that today

After doing some research in Godalming, helping hands came out on the top and was highly recommended by my church and residents in the local area.

Fantastic people, very professional, with a smile on their faces, quite accommodating at all levels. Very good care & management team. The management team is very ethical, knowledgable, flexible and cares not only for their customers but for their staff too. Well Done Michelle and Team! Fab branch!

Megan was really warm and friendly and very patient with us but have dropped a point as there were so many questions.

My mother has had Helping Hands now for 4 weeks. In that time she has only had the same carer twice, this really is not a satisfactory way of dealing with an elderly person with dementia. The carers who do visit her have been really nice and she likes them but gets confused because she cannot recognise them. I am aware that you have staffing issues, but to be honest it is your issue not ours. Please, consistency is needed.

All my questions answered sim pathetically

Most are very good but many of the younger ones need to be told how to make a bed. We 'oldies'do not want the clothes just pulling up. The under sheet needs smoothing and the pillows shaken up. I have taught some of them how it should be done!

Efficient and friendly initial telephone call and a prompt response to arrange assessments

I don't know where to start, 3 people wonder have made a extremely stressful situation manageable and took the stress from me. Megan, Lucy and Melanie are absolutely fantastic and are a credit to Helping hands. My Auntie is very special to me and I would not just let anyone take care of her, I have yet to meet the carer that going to look after my Auntie but if they are anything like Megan,Lucy and Melanie I will have no worries at all. I cannot fault the anything, the compassion, respect and care is unbelievable. Thank you. Karl

Because we have now a small dedicated team that is well tailored to my Mothers needs - one particular lady makes her feel really appreciated and is a perfect hard working carer.
