Live-in care and visiting home care in Islington

Located only a stone’s throw from the bustling centre of our capital city, the borough of Islington is the home of one of the biggest teams in the Premier League – Arsenal Football Club. Surrounded by some of London’s most favourable places of interest such as Camden Lock, the V&A Museum and Finsbury Park, Islington is also home to a team of dedicated and compassionate Helping Hands carers.

Branch Manager Georgeana and her team offer bespoke, person-centred care packages in Highbury, Islington, Walthamstow, Stratford, Finsbury Park, Hackney, Tottenham and the surrounding areas. Built on a foundation of family values, our aim is to provide you with the support you need to remain safe and independent in the place you feel most comfortable – in your own home.

Whether you need a helping hand in going about your day-to-day life, or you are living with a progressive condition and you require more intensive support, our Islington team are here to help.

Meet Georgeana, our Branch Manager

“Hello, I’m Georgeana and I am the Branch Manager for the Islington branch. I am responsible for the operational day-to-day running of the branch, including rota planning, quality control, people management, complaints handling, business development and branch performance.

“At Helping Hands, we aim to maintain independence, allowing choice and control for our customers and responding to their every need. As the Branch Manager for the Islington area, I play an integral part in managing the daily operations of our business to deliver safe, well-led, effective and responsive care.”

Visiting home care tailored to your needs

We’re proud to have been providing industry-leading care at home for over 30 years, and as a family-run business we know exactly what is needed to ensure that you receive the support you need with no compromise to your independence.

You may be living alone and no longer as confident in going out for your morning paper, or perhaps you are usually cared for by your partner and you would like some time to be ‘partners’ instead of ‘patient and carer’. Whatever it is you need, Georgeana and her team will provide a personalised support package that is built by and around you, so you can continue to live on your own terms.

With experience in supporting people living with motor neurone disease, Alzheimer’s and mental health conditions, and with customers ranging from the age of 18 and beyond, our dedicated Islington team have the knowledge and expertise to support you in whichever way is best for you.

Georgeana and her team will work with you to provide a bespoke live-in care package where you receive personalised and unintrusive support in the place you know best.
