What does our assisted living support include?

Our wonderful carers from our home care in Merseyside team are standing by to help you continue living in the home that you love through our bespoke, person-centred assisted living services. We’ll come to visit you in your home at times specified by you and provide you with practical, physical or even emotional support, ensuring you’re never left feeling isolated or unsupported. Our CQC-regulated assisted living support is provided to you in the comfort of your own home and provides you with an expertly-trained carer to come and assist you around the house in any way you might require. This might involve helping with the housework and providing light practical support to alleviate the stress and strain, or it could be discreet personal care and help with medication.

Qualified carers providing assisted living in Merseyside

Our wonderful carers truly are at the heart of everything that makes our care service so popular. We recruit, vet, train and employ every single Helping Hands carer ourselves, so you can be completely confident that they’ll always be of the very highest calibre and are being treated exceptionally well by the UK’s most widely-trusted home care provider. All of our carers receive our comprehensive carer training when they join us, as well as regular refresher courses which keep their knowledge and skillset updated.

When to consider assisted living

Assisted living from our Merseyside carers can be a great option for anyone who needs a bit of additional support to manage from day to day but doesn’t need comprehensive, complex support for a progressive condition. It can provide an invaluable boost to an individual’s independence, with a carer assisting with all the aspects of your life where you might be struggling most. Our philosophy is to enable you to continue with normal life and support you in your routines, rather than completely taking all responsibilities off your hands, as we believe this is the best way to help you stay physically and mentally well. Of course, if you’d prefer, our carers will always be happy to handle any chores you’re no longer comfortable undertaking.

How much does assisted living cost?

The cost of assisted living from Helping Hands will vary depending on your level of need. Our visiting care packages start from £31.00 per hour, whilst live-in care in Merseyside prices start at £1,675 per week for one person and £1,675 per week for a couple. Each care visit also incurs a £4.25 fee to cover your carer’s costs.

We know how important it is to you that your care is straightforward to arrange, sustainably affordable, and doesn’t come with any unwanted extras or additional costs. That’s why we’re completely transparent about the upfront costs involved in our industry-leading home care, and will never ever try to push you to sign up for any extra hours or services that you don’t want or need. Your local care manager in Merseyside will always be on hand to help you make any changes you wish to make to your support at a moment’s notice.
