High quality home care in Merseyside

Since 1989, Helping Hands have helped tens of thousands of people to continue living independently and comfortably in their own homes through our dedicated home care.

We’re able to offer care across the whole of Merseyside, including Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton, St Helens, Wirral and more.

We’re committed to providing a high-quality home care service that gives our customers a holistic, flexible package of support where they’re in charge of their own routines and lifestyle.

24/7 live in care support

Our live-in care in Merseyside services are flexible and adaptable to people with all manner of needs – from the straightforward to the very complex. Every Helping Hands carer receives industry-leading training in caring for people living with dementia, types of cancer, Parkinson’s, and other conditions.

We’re also able to provide basic support with things like housekeeping, meal preparation and companionship. Your live-in carer will stay in your home with you and provide proactive assistance to help you enjoy an independent lifestyle.

Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Merseyside

We’ll be alongside you every step of the way throughout your care journey, ensuring you’re getting a package of support that’s fully tailored to your specific needs, wishes and circumstances. We know that everyone’s care requirements are completely unique to them, which is why we never adopt a one-size-fits-all approach to our care.

Instead, your local care manager in Merseyside will visit you at home for an initial care needs assessment, where they’ll get to know you and understand how we can best help you to continue enjoying living at home. We’ll then put together a detailed care plan designed around your needs, and will monitor your situation and condition to ensure we’re constantly giving you the right type and level of support.

Qualified carers providing home care in Merseyside

At Helping Hands, we only hire people who possess naturally kind and compassionate personalities to our care teams, because we believe that these are essential characteristics for a really good carer. Our recruitment process is highly selective – only 2% of candidates are successful, and they must undergo rigorous background checks before joining the team. Then, when they start, every carer receives our industry-leading carer training, where they’re equipped to provide a wide range of care services to people with varying needs. Their training will continue on a regular basis through refresher courses, so that their knowledge and skillset are kept up to date.

All Helping Hands carers are directly recruited, trained and employed by the company. They are insured and bonded, offering peace of mind to customers and their families. The team maintain high standards of care quality and professionalism.

If your regular carer cannot attend, a suitable replacement will always be arranged. The team aim to keep visits as close as possible to the original time, ensuring continuity and reliability of care.
