I approached Helping Hands when my 89 year old Dad came to live with us in a self contained annexe after being diagnosed with Dementia. Megan did a home visit and was so knowledgeable that she immediately put me at ease regarding the services they could provideh. The Carers visited daily and were amazing with my Dad - they were so kind and caring nothing was too much trouble. Dads illness progressed quite quickly which meant that the level of help that we required changed too. The team are so well trained that they were able to deal with his changing needs smoothly and quickly meaning that Dad could stay at home and be cared for. It is such a difficult time when a family member is ill and Helping Hands were there with words of encouragement and daily smiles not only for my Dad but also for me too when I needed it. I would highly recommend them and can never thank them enough for the care they showed our family.
