Visiting care and home care in Swaffham
Swaffham has a rich history dating back many years to the coming of the Angles and Saxons. The town was an important market centre by the 14th century as an emerging sheep and wool location. One of Swaffham’s notorieties is the medieval folklore of Black Shuck, the tale about a black dog who wandered the area and those nearby, attacking merchants who were heading to larger towns nearby to sell their wares. Even today there is a rumour of a black puma-like cat wandering the area. At Helping Hands, we were curious to discover if these tales were all that the area could offer so decided to get to know Swaffham better. This we’ve achieved by bringing our exceptional visiting and live-in care to the area, all of which is fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and the Care Inspectorate Wales.
