I approached HH when I believed my mother, in her 90s, started to need more care to be able to remain in her home. They visited twice a week (my mother did not wish for more visits). There were regular reviews which were inclusive of my Mum and her views. I spoke with Jo, and other members of the team, frequently about how my mother might be supported further - they always had her interests at heart. But my experience was not just about support to my Mum, I felt supported too - living 400 miles away and dealing with the frustration, on my part, of my Mum being resistant to accepting help, was difficult. I was always very reassured by my conversations with the team and in particular my conversations with Jo were a comfort. I would recommend Helping Hands without hesitation.

HH were recommend by a relation who had used HH carers to bath her once a week. When Mum needed care from Nov 2020 we used HH and we have been extremely pleased with the service. She has regular carers that have now become friends & we have got to know some of them. Carers are very professional, and nothing is too much trouble. Sarah Penrose from HH listened to Mum's requirements at the beginning regarding times & frequency of visits and these are stuck to unless there is a last minute change due to sickness but cover is always provided. The admin staff are helpful & friendly, answer our calls & emails, requests & queries politely & efficiently. HH provide an excellent service and would defiantly recommend them

This is my first experience with a care company so it is difficult to score without a comparison. Most carers are helpful and willing to help.
