Visiting care and home care in Woolwich
Famous for the football team that was originally known as “Woolwich Arsenal”, Woolwich has been inhabited since the Iron Age, or perhaps even earlier. Extensive excavations in the area have exposed many skeletal remains from early periods. Despite such an established history, Woolwich was not mentioned in the Domesday Book, due to being under the control of Flemish monks at the time.
At Helping Hands, we have an established history that – while not rivalling Woolwich’s – we are very proud of. We’ve been providing the highest quality care in our customers’ homes since 1989, and we continue to do so for thousands of people every day via our visiting and live-in care services, all of which are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and the Care Inspectorate Wales.

Regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, giving you peace of mind that we meet the highest standards of service and care.
Thousands of our customers have shared their experiences of care with us on customer review site Trustpilot with Helping Hands rated 4.7 out of 5.
We only employ those special people with the right levels of patience, empathy, and compassion to care for you as we'd want our own families to be cared for.
We know that good care means something different to each of us. That's why we take the time to get to know you and your family to understand your needs and preferences.
When finding care becomes a decision for the wider family, we can help you consider your options. We keep in touch once care is in place so we can adapt care as needs change.
