Home care in Wrexham
Visiting care and home care in Wrexham
Wrexham has a long and varied history and was likely founded prior to the 11th century, later becoming a regional centre for trade and administration. Wrexham was at the forefront of the Industrial Revolution from the 18th century seeing it famous for coal and lead mining, brewing, plus the production of iron, steel and leather.
We’re proud of our heritage at Helping Hands and we like to celebrate the areas we represent too, and over our 30 year history we have established ourselves across England and Wales. Our visiting service starts from just 30 minutes a week, right up to live-in care, so we can support anyone who needs us.

Branch Care Manager
I manage the day-to-day running of the branch which involves ensuring all of our customers are receiving the highest quality of care, and ensuring our care staff feel happy, valued and fully confident in their roles. I am looking at pushing for a more proactive approach with recruitment to ensure we attract the very best carers, and my biggest goal is to grow our branch and have it become one of the most sucessful in the company whilst still delivering high standards of care. I joined the care sector over 12 years ago and what attracts me is being able to have a positive impact on the lives of others and being a pillar of support for those in need. I believe that everyone deserves the same opportunities in life regardless of circumstance, and that for me is why I do what I do every day. I love the service we provide, being able to support people to remain at home. To have a fulfilling and meaningful life is something everyone deserves. I am extremely proud of the carers and the job they do - without them we simply would not exist and our customers may not be able to have the ability to remain at home. We celebrate our carers every day and ensure they know how amazing they are. In my downtime I spend time with my daughter who is one; she keeps me very busy! I also love football, but being an Everton fan it's not an enjoyable experience!
