Wanted to thank the whole team but particularly Maisie who worked extra time when I collapsed in June during her visit. She was very professional and called the ambulance as well as staying as long as she could. I spent 5 days in hospital but now home and very relieved that she was so good. Thank you. I would highly recommend your service.

I love working for York helping hands. Iv been with these for a good few years now. Lovely staff, wonderful customers. The passion towards our clients is lovely and very rewarding seeing you left them smiling and happy.

Hi the team at York were able to still see my dad and help when he was at my house. We were both poorly with covid. Dad is home now and is been looked after by the care team as I am still out of action. It was all done at short notice. Team York you are fab. 😃😃

Really helpful and responsive. Just a couple of communication problems a couple of times.

I think there have been some communication issues but delighted with the staff who been allocated to help.

My Mum and Dad only need a little care currently but know t hat this will increase over time - they enjoy and appreciate the two hours care a week they receive from Kim currently - she is always reliable, friendly and interested in them. Thank you.

I get a rota each week so i know who to expect.All the team act professional and are genuine at keeping me safe always.

The helpers are lovely and work hard to do their best but they are unable to fully meet Joyce's needs because they are not scheduled to call at the right time.

Informative and clear as to what was on offer. Although we have to wait for care she was reassuring that we would get help as soon as it was available

We are very pleased with the way Mum's care has been delivered. All her carers are lovely. We nearly have early calls all week and the consistency of carer is much better. Still room for slight improvements and then it will be 5 stars across the board. Thanks very much.

They gave my Mum care and compation till the day she passed away as they are doing my Father especially Debra the carer who goes over and beyond the care she gives my Dad.My Dad can be awkward but at 93 he says he knows that he is in safe hands with Debra.You are amazing Debra thank you. I only said 'no' to current care plan because my mum needs weekend care now but unfortunately where she lives there are not the staff available. We are very happy with her carers and Helping Hands.

Consistent with time keeping...regular carers who know what is required.

Mum has found her carers to be friendly and helpful. They also reacted quickly when mum sprained her ankle by immediately going to the GP Surgery and a nurse came to bandage mum's ankle.

Beth was very relaxed and listened to my mum and took her time. Mum didn't feel coerced which meant she voluntarily asked for carers 3 days a week which was a big relief to me.

I felt at ease with Beth and found her easy to talk to about various matters that were difficult for me as this will be the first time I have used a carer

I find the management team at Helping Hands helpful and pleasant but have noticed that sometimes telephone messages are not passed on accurately. The carer who attends my husband is always prompt, professional, flexible , courteous and kind. On the few occasions when he has been replaced by another carer , the service has also been of a high standard. We are generally very pleased and hope to continue receiving care from Helping Hands in the future.
